Memberships & Crewing
Sailing is quite a personal experience and we understand that every person is different, every boat is different and EVERY sailing experience is different so we invite you to join us for a sail on Koombana Bay and we hope you to find a crew position that works for you.
Please feel free to try different boats on different occasions until
you find a crew that you are comfortable with.
Would you like to try sailing before you join as a KBSC Senior, Crew or Junior Member?
Then SailPass is for you!

What is SailPass?
SailPass is a means by which a non-member can go sailing at our Club – it’s a form of introductory or short term sailing membership (for a day)

You can use SailPass for up to 6 Junior/Adult Dinghy races, 6 Saturday races (adults/keelboats) or for 1 season of Twilight sails before you are required to join as a full member.

KBSC Social Members and Affiliate Members (Members from other AS Clubs)
will need their Australian Sailing Number to register to sail in any KBSC event. Find your AS Number here.
Once you have your AS Number please register to sail here.

Our crew board is available behind the office near the outside ablution blocks.
Please put your details on if you are looking for crew or are looking for a boat to sail on.
If possible include what days you can sail and if you have experience.
